Day 1:

• Meeting at the Ashgabat airport. Customs procedures.

• Transfer and check-in to the hotel.

• Excursion to Old Nisa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was one of the first capitals of the Parthian Empire (3rd century BC – 3rd century AD), one of the largest states of the ancient world.

• On the way back, visit the magnificent Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque, the largest single-dome mosque in the world, accommodating up to 20,000 worshippers.

• Visit the “Gulistan” market (Russian Bazaar).

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:

• Early transfer to the airport for the flight to Turkmenbashi.

• Drive to Yangikala Canyon (approx. 3 hours). Enjoy a tour and walk around the “Fire Fortress” with its vivid landscapes.

• Drive to Turkmenbashi (3 hours). City tour of Turkmenbashi.

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

• Evening flight to Ashgabat.

• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3:

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Drive to Kov-Ata Underground Lake, a unique natural underground lake with warm water (+34–39°C) year-round.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Drive through the Karakum Desert to the famous Darvaza Gas Crater (280 km), also known as the “Gates of Hell.”

• Traditional dinner in Darvaza.

• Overnight in a yurt.

Day 4:

• Breakfast in the open air by the gas crater.

• Drive to Old Koneurgench, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 2005), with historic landmarks such as:

• Mausoleum of Turabek Khanum

• Kutlug Timur Minaret

• Mausoleum of Sultan Tekesh

• Mausoleum of Fakhraddin Razi.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Evening flight to Ashgabat

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5:

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Drive to Mary (approx. 3.5 hours). On the way, visit Seyitjemaleddin Mosque, a pilgrimage site.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Excursion to Ancient Merv, one of the oldest regions in Central Asia and an important center on the Silk Road:

• Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum (12th century)

• Small and Big Gyz-Kala

• Mausoleum of Ibn Zayd, Sardoba (12th century)

• Erk-Kala and Gyaur-Kala

• Return to Ashgabat.

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

• Transfer to the airport for departure.
